Simple text reminders could help close London's bowel cancer screening gap

A University of Surrey-led study found that automated text reminders and targeted phone support can significantly increase bowel cancer screening among Londoners who initially do not return their test kits. Texts tripled uptake at very low cost, while phone support was especially effective for men.
