Lawyer caught by BBC offering to make illegal-worker fine go away

A BBC undercover investigation secretly filmed Bradford solicitor Mohammad Alias Yousaf allegedly offering a way to avoid a £45,000 illegal-working fine by shifting liability to an overseas “ghost” business owner. The piece also reveals that more than £150m in illegal-working fines remains uncollected and has prompted a Home Office review.
