Higher ADK levels track stronger triciribine effects in leukemia cells, pointing to a potential biomarker

Researchers at Karolinska Institutet found that higher levels of the enzyme ADK are linked to stronger triciribine effects in acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells. The study suggests ADK may help predict which leukemia cells are more vulnerable to triciribine by enabling conversion of the compound into its active form.
